Founded in 1979 by Dr. José Manuel San Román Pérez, a European pioneer of percutaneous foot surgery, it is now led together with Dr. Israel San Román Sirvent, a Doctor of Medicine, Board Certified by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry (ABMSP) in minimally invasive foot surgery — the first to obtain this certification in Europe.
