In plaats van het gebied te openen, bewerkt de chirurg het bot en de zachte weefsels met micromolens en specifieke instrumenten, steeds geleid door een <strong>fluoroscoop<\/strong> (real-time radiologie). Er wordt geen laser gebruikt.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deze manier van opereren vermindert de agressie tegen de weefsels en resulteert, in vergelijking met traditionele open chirurgie, in <strong>minder postoperatieve pijn, sneller herstel en bijna onmerkbare littekens<\/strong>.
