De behandeling bestaat uit het gebruik van geschikt schoeisel, steunzolen en, in sommige gevallen, het verwijderen van de verdikte huid door een podotherapeut.   <\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Plantaire wratten<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Deze wratten worden veroorzaakt door het humaan papillomavirus (HPV) en kunnen pijnlijk en besmettelijk zijn. Ze ontwikkelen zich op de voetzool en kunnen voor likdoorns worden aangezien. Plantaire wratten hebben meestal kleine zwarte puntjes op het oppervlak en kunnen pijn veroorzaken bij het lopen. Bunions kunnen worden veroorzaakt door genetische factoren, onjuist schoeisel of biomechanische problemen. De behandeling kan bestaan uit het gebruik van wijde, comfortabele schoenen, orthopedische inlegzolen en in ernstige gevallen een corrigerende operatie.  <\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Klauw- en hamervingers<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Deze misvormingen treden op wanneer de tenen abnormaal gebogen zijn. Klauwtenen buigen naar beneden bij het middelste en eindgewricht, terwijl hamertenen alleen buigen bij het middelste gewricht. Deze aandoeningen kunnen pijn, likdoorns en problemen met lopen veroorzaken. De behandeling kan bestaan uit goed schoeisel, oefeningen om de tenen te strekken en te versterken, en in ernstige gevallen een operatie.   <\/span><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Pijnstoornissen<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Fasciitis plantaris<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Fasciitis plantaris is een ontsteking van het weefsel dat langs de voetzool loopt en een scherpe pijn in de hiel veroorzaakt. Deze aandoening komt vaak voor bij hardlopers en mensen die veel op hun voeten staan. De behandeling omvat het gebruik van steunzolen, rekoefeningen, fysiotherapie en in sommige gevallen corticostero\u00efde injecties of een operatie.  <\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Morton neuroma<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Bij deze aandoening is er sprake van een verdikking van het weefsel rond de zenuwen die naar de tenen leiden, wat pijn en gevoelloosheid veroorzaakt. Mortons neuroma komt meestal voor tussen de derde en vierde teen en kan verergerd worden door het dragen van nauwsluitende schoenen. De behandeling kan bestaan uit het gebruik van wijdere schoenen, steunzolen, fysiotherapie en, in ernstige gevallen, corticostero\u00efde injecties of een operatie.  <\/span><\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Infecties en andere aandoeningen<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Voetschimmel<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Atleetvoet is een schimmelinfectie die de huid van de voet aantast en jeuk, roodheid en kloven veroorzaakt. Atleetvoet komt vaak voor bij mensen die veel zweten of veel in vochtige ruimtes komen, zoals zwembaden en kleedkamers. De behandeling bestaat uit het gebruik van topische antischimmelmedicijnen en het schoon en droog houden van de voeten.  <\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Onychomycose<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Een schimmelinfectie die de teennagels aantast en verdikking, verkleuring en afbrokkeling van de nagels veroorzaakt. Onychomycose kan moeilijk te behandelen zijn en kan orale en lokale antischimmelmedicijnen en een goede voethygi\u00ebne vereisen. <\/span><\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Aandoeningen aan de voetboog<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Platte voet<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Een platvoet is een aandoening waarbij de voetboog is afgeplat, wat pijn en houdingsproblemen kan veroorzaken. Deze aandoening kan aangeboren zijn of na verloop van tijd ontstaan door zwakke pezen. De behandeling kan bestaan uit het gebruik van steunzolen, oefeningen om de voetspieren te versterken en, in ernstige gevallen, een operatie.  <\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Clubvoet<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Pes cavus is een aandoening waarbij de voetboog abnormaal hoog is, wat pijn en evenwichtsproblemen kan veroorzaken. Deze aandoening kan worden veroorzaakt door neurologische of genetische factoren. De behandeling kan bestaan uit het gebruik van steunzolen, oefeningen om de flexibiliteit van de voet te verbeteren en, in ernstige gevallen, een operatie.  <\/span><\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Circulatieproblemen<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Perifere slagaderziekte (PAD)<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">PAD is een aandoening waarbij de bloedvaten die de benen en voeten van bloed voorzien, vernauwd of verstopt raken, wat pijn en zweren in de voeten kan veroorzaken. De behandeling kan bestaan uit veranderingen in de levensstijl, medicijnen om de bloedsomloop te verbeteren en, in ernstige gevallen, chirurgische ingrepen om de bloedstroom te herstellen. <\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Diabetische zweren<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Mensen met diabetes lopen een verhoogd risico op voetzweren door problemen met de bloedsomloop en neuropathie (zenuwbeschadiging). Deze zweren kunnen moeilijk genezen en tot ernstige infecties leiden.
