It appears on the sole of the foot, where body weight pushes it inward, giving it its characteristic inverted and painful shape. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HPV enters the skin through micro-tears or cuts in warm, humid environments (swimming pools, locker rooms, gyms, communal showers).
